Know How:
I currently assist a dozen local commercial photographers, as well as several shooters from LA and NYC who travel to Texas. I am familiar with Nikon and Canon gear; Speedo,ProPhoto, Lumedyne, Comet, and several other lighting systems. I am familiar enough with PC and Mac software to save and view files safely, but don't consider myself a 'digital tech'. I have a good feel for light and sound
and want to do more motion/video work. I am prompt, reliable, congenial and keep my nose out of your dealings with clients. I have been in Houston since the 70's (some as an airborne traffic reporter), so I know the area pretty well. I can also work as a local in other major Texas cities for more than 1-day shoots. I have traveled globally and can go anywhere.

I have BA degrees in Journalism and Radio/TV/Film, and I was trained at the USN School of Photography in Pensacola before 3 years in the fleet as a photographer. After
that, I worked as a commercial, wedding, journalism shooter and videographer. I really enjoy working on video/film projects and have a couple of documentary projects of my own in the works.
