I possess a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Digital Photography from the Art Institute of Seattle. Throughout my career I have photographed sports, events, portraits, product, editorials, architecture, and real estate. I spent nearly 3 years as an in-house photographer and retoucher at a fashion company in South San Francisco, starting by learning the ropes of their retouching processes and adding my own techniques to improve workflows. Eventually I was promoted to the lead product photographer position, aiding in development of a new overall look for their line of accessories and cosmetics, as well as training post production staff on retouching and photography for when I was
out of the office. Following that experience, I spent two and a half years as an in-house photographer at a realty in Palo Alto, CA. There, I photographed well over 100 properties a year, but also pushed myself into expanding my role to include social media content creation and management, video production, and general marketing assisting.
My work has been published in local newspapers, Gentry Magazine, Mansion Global, and shown at international trade shows in China and United Arab Emerates.
I have assisted a handful of photographers over the years both in college and in my professional career but have not been a permanent assistant for a photographer.
